Luís Lobo Xavier
Director of the Planning and Strategy Department at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation since 2019. Previously, he coordinated and supervised projects related to health, sustainability, human development and social innovation.
With a degree in economics and law, he has also been a consultant and educator at various social intervention and entrepreneurship institutions.

A sociologist, she has a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Lisbon, with a thesis on youth, family and autonomy. Since 2001, she has collaborated with the Permanent Youth Observatory of the Institute of Social Sciences of ULisboa, where she is currently an advisor to the board.
Since 2010, she has been Adjunct Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, where she co-coordinates the internships for the Degree in Social Education.
She has participated in numerous national and international projects and is the author and co-author of several publications in youth and education studies.
More recently, she has dedicated herself to studying young people in NEET conditions (i.,e., who are not in employment, education or training) as a political and media construction that alienates the young people at whom policies, services and support are directed.

Vítor Sérgio Ferreira
He holds a PhD in sociology, specialising in the sociology of education, culture and communication, from ISCTE-IUL, Portugal (2006). He is currently Postgraduate Researcher and Lecturer at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He is also Coordinator of the LIFE research group – Life Paths, Inequalities and Solidarities, and Vice-Coordinator of the Permanent Youth Observatory. As well as publishing regularly in national and international scientific journals on youth issues, he is the author/editor of books such as Millennial Generation? A Social and Political Portrait (2017), Researching Young People: Methodological Paths and Challenges (2017) and Youth(s) From the Local to the National – What Intervention? (2019). His most recent research has focused on the conditions enabling the emergence of «new dream professions» within the aspirational and professional integration patterns of younger generations; on how generational categories have gained prominence as symbolic devices for identifying and enunciating social inequalities in the post-crisis conjuncture; and on new and old forms of action and political production by/for and with young people.

Chairman of the DST Group, based in Braga, which works in engineering, construction, waste management and recovery, water, renewable energy management and real estate. The group's mission is to develop sustainable business projects that add value to the community.
DST's annual training plan includes classes in philosophy, rhetoric and art history for all employees during working hours. It also maintains partnerships with vocational schools, through which it has created higher vocational-technical courses, master's degrees and doctorates exclusively for its employees.

She was born in Lisbon, where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Law, and she has worked in journalism for 25 years. She held the position of Society Editor and Lead Reporter, did film reviews and a weekly chronicle and she founded and managed the Cinema Final Cut website. She has been on the panel of judges at contests organised by ICA, which also funded three of her scripts. She made her début as a novelist with «What Matter the Fury of the Sea» (Teorema) a work that unanimously won the APE/DGLAB2013 Novel and Novella Grand Prize. Her second novel «You Can’t Live in a Cat's Eyes» (Teorema), a finalist in the Oceans Prize, won the Manuel de Boaventura Literary Prize and, again, APE/DGLAB the Novel and Novella Grand Prize 2016, thus entering the small group of Portuguese novelists to have been twice honoured. «Small Domestic Delusions» (Relógio d’Água), a collection of short stories, won the Camilo Castelo Branco/APE Short Story and Novel Award. Her latest novel «The Gesture You Make to Protect Your Head» (Relógio de Água) is a finalist candidate for the Oceans Award. She published a set of stories about war in July 2021: «Maps of Poorly Situated Places». She is the author of the cultural podcast Gross Domestic Happiness by Lisbon Municipal Council.

Carlos Alberto Augusto
Composer, sound designer, acoustic communication specialist and professor at the School of Social and Human Sciences (NOVA-FCSH).
He is a founding member of the Portuguese Acoustic Society.
He studied with R. Murray Schafer and Barry Truax and, under the guidance of the latter, completed his Master's Degree in Interactive Hypermedia Communication at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
As a composer and sound designer, his work focuses mainly on theatre, video and interactive technologies.
He has written several plays and musicals. He was a programmer for the music and sound arts area at «Coimbra, National Capital of Culture 2003» and assistant to Constança Capdeville, with whom he collaborated in several works.

Journalist, infographic designer and illustrator for the "Público" newspaper since 2006. He previously worked for the Impala and Cofina Media groups.
He has won more than dozens of national and international awards and mentions in infographics, online infographics, animated infographics and illustration.
He took part in the Malofiej workshop at the University of Navarra - Pamplona, Spain, in 2009, and has been to several world congresses. In Portugal, he completed a workshop in storytelling through infographics at the Instituto Superior de Gestão.
With a background in design, he decided to invest in web design training at LX School (Flag) and, more recently, in programming language at Formabase.
His work focuses on producing infographics for paper and online and creating new digital visual narratives with a large illustrative component.
