Teresa Martinho
Research fellow at the Instituto de Ciências Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa (ICS-ULisboa). She specializes in the study of the culture sector, and in particular cultural policies, cultural occupations and the consequences of the digitalization of culture.
In addition to the culture sector, her areas of interest are biographical research related to post-colonial studies and to the contribution of women to social theory.
She holds a doctorate in Sociology, awarded by ISCTE-IUL, and she was visiting assistant professor at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, where she taught the Introduction to the Social Sciences class in the Psychology course (2016-2023).
Between 1990 and 1996 she was a journalist, focusing mainly on the arts and culture.
She was a researcher at the «Observatório das Actividades Culturais» (Cultural Activities Observatory).

Actress and television host. She is president of the Companhia de Actores and artistic director of the Amélia Rey Colaço Municipal Theatre.
She also does voice-overs and has written and illustrated books.
She has a degree in Journalism from the Escola Superior de Comunicação Social and also completed an acting course at the Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais.
She won the «Bernardo Santareno» and «Porto's África» revelation actress awards, and twice the «Best Acting» award at the «48 Hour Film Project».

In a career spanning 30 years, André Carrilho has won over 100 awards and honours (below) in illustration, editorial cartoon, animation and caricature, and has shown his work in group and solo exhibitions in Portugal, Spain, Brazil, France, Czech Republic, China and USA.
His work has been published in an extended list of newspapers and magazines, including the New York Times, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Independent on Sunday, NZZ am Sonntag, Harper's Magazine, Diário de Notícias and New Statesman.

Founder and director of ‘Canal 180’, a Cannes award-winning television channel centred on culture and creativity, aimed at younger audiences and the world's creators.
He has a degree in Economics and has devoted most of his professional experience to marketing and communications. He started out in the telecoms industry as a product developer at Sonae - Optimus Telecom. Six years later he moved to the advertising agency ‘BBDO’ to specialise in brand development and marketing strategy in multiple sectors.
In 2010 he won first place in the Serralves/Unicer Creative Industries Entrepreneurship Award with the Open Source Television (OSTV) project, an original collaborative approach to developing a television channel in the increasingly fragmented digital landscape.

Sociologist, associate professor at Lusíada University, researcher and director of the Luísada Centre for Research in Social Work and Social Intervention (CLISSIS).
His research interests focus on families, adolescence, human sexuality and sexual and reproductive policies and rights.
He has a degree and a PhD in Sociology from ISCTE.

Psychologist, psychotherapist and family therapist. He is a visiting professor and researcher at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto.
His research interests include LGBT psychology, family and gender, subjects on which he has published nationally and internationally.
He has a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, a BA and MA in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra.
