Bio
Born in Lisbon in 1974. In 1997, she graduated in Law at the Law Faculty of the Lisbon University and, in 2003, she obtained a doctorate in Law, specialising in Civil Procedure, from the Law Faculty of the Lisbon Nova University. Since then, she is a Law Professor at the Law Faculty of the Lisbon Nova University, where she lectures on Civil Procedure Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is also a consultant for the Litigation and Arbitration Department of the Law firm SRS Advogados. She is a board member of the Arbitration Centre of the Lisbon Commercial Association and a member of the Arbitration Committee of the ICC – International Chamber of Commerce. She is also the author of several monographs and scientific articles on the subjects of civil procedure, arbitration, conflict mediation and justices of peace.
