Diretora da Pordata e membro do Conselho de Administração e da Comissão Executiva da Fundação Francisco Manuel dos Santos. Doutorada em Estatística e Computação e licenciada em Matemática, Luísa Loura é docente e investigadora da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. Foi dirigente da Direção-Geral de Estatísticas da Educação e Ciência. Enquanto investigadora, publicou trabalhos nas áreas da teoria de extremos, dos processos estocásticos, da bioestatística e do ensino da estatística.

She holds a PhD in Statistics and Computing and graduated in Mathematics, Luísa Loura is a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. She was director of the Directorate-General for Education and Science Statistics. As a researcher, she published works in the areas of extreme theory, stochastic processes, biostatistics and the teaching of statistics.
